Operations Manager
Overview
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for everything operational – from the project planning and project management to the boots-on-the-ground implementation of policies, procedures, and processes. This is not the role for an operations manager who likes to plan and delegate – to be successful in this role, you love the planning aspect, but you also love DOING. You take the initiative and love the freedom of being given a goal and a timeline and creating an execution plan. You love multifaceted roles and projects, and while you love task management, you also love people and are excited about leading and working with people daily. You understand that personal growth and expansion work is not a luxury, it’s a necessity.
- Time Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours/week, flexible schedule
- Compensation: $50-60k annually
- Benefits: Unlimited PTO and Wellness Benefit with the potential to offer more benefits in the future, as well as future profit sharing
- Location: East coast preferred, but not required (must be able to work often within business hours in EST) Must be in the United States – this role is entirely remote.
- Status: This role is a full-time employee role. You must be available to be employed by our company and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the overall vision of the CEO and driving the operational vision of the entire organization
- Implementing operational systems and managing projects
- Working with the team to reinforce the company values
- Working with the finance manager to create and set budgets based on company goals and needs
- Organizing, leading, and delegating launch strategy and ensuring the execution of all tasks
- Managing multiple projects at any time and ensuring the team is organized and supported to execute deliverables
- Creating and implementing company policies and SOPs and subsequently following up with team members to ensure they are understood and being followed
- Working closely with the CEO to see the vision and direction for the company and creating and executing the necessary processes to move the company forward
- Writing and sending thoughtful gratitude notes to clients and others in our ecosystem
- Helping to create team meeting processes and then leading team meetings
- Ensuring clients are receiving red carpet/high touch service throughout their participation in programs as well as after
- Anticipate and work to prevent potential conflicts, as well as to mediate and helping to resolve any disputes as they arise
- Identifying gaps in business practices, creating plans to fill those gaps, and following through with the execution and delegation of the plans
- Reinforcing accountability and transformational leadership through all company systems
- Scheduling and hosting intentional interactions with team members and departments
- Managing communication with our accounting company and familiarizing yourself with all company financials, and understanding the human factor behind the numbers
- Zooming out to look at the big picture of the company and filling in necessary details to move forward with company goals
- Double-checking the details of each project to ensure everything works as expected and troubleshooting in the moment whenever anything goes wrong
- Identifying marketing ideas and executing some marketing strategy to continue to create exposure for the company
- Taking ideas from the CEO and developing projects and goals to make the ideas happen
- Taking the initiative and running with plans to get them done
- Playing a significant role in the long-term planning of the company and identifying operational gaps that need to be filled to meet goals
